ABOUT ME
My name is Katarzyna and I am a native Polish sworn translator / interpreter and ESL teacher. I offer a range of linguistic services, including certified Polish < > English translation and interpreting, specialised translation, proofreading and ESL courses and workshops.
English and I became friends years ago. First of all it was all about communication and travelling, later there was a desire to express myself clearly and precisely and to be able to perceive the world in a different way, through another language. And finally when I got to the point when I felt safe and at ease with English, I decided that I would like to make other people feel the same and share my passion for the language. Alongside English it was also Spanish that stole a piece of my heart and actually made me passionate about literature and culture of Latin America. But the truth is that it all had started with a real soft spot for Polish, my native language, with all its ambiguity, nuances and beauty. The soft spot turned into 5 years of studies and a degree in Polish Philology at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland and in my work as a translator enables me to find words that capture the subtleties of the original text with surgical precision.
TRANSLATION
CERTIFIED TRANSLATION
Certified translation of official and financial documents, translation for judicial and official purposes where certification is legally required. Translation of contracts, notarized documents, civil records, car registration and real estate documents.
TRANSLATION AND LOCALIZATION
Your clients deserve the content that doesn't sound like a translation. My role here is to create a text that makes an impact and resonates with them. In my translation work, I endeavor to adhere closely to the oryginal text, all the while being mindful of the traget audeince's needs and preferences.

Providing interpretation during client meetings, trade fairs, and conferences.

Get the content, style, grammar and spelling of your texts checked.

I have been teaching English for nearly 20 years, which means that I've been around the teaching block more than a few times and I have faced my fair share of challenges.
